I sit and I silently pray. I know there is something deep within me about to rise to the surface, something large, very large. It is the great star leviathan that controls my dreams, and controls my waking life (it controls my entire world). It is the large thing, the massive thing, the living thing. It is so large I cannot see it all with my eyes; no matter how far away it is I can only see a part, a fin here, an eye here, a wing here. It is pure muscle and pure fire, and I have arisen out of it to come into the world and say, "This is my world; this is the world." It is the great star leviathan, the thing that could take away all my suffering in an instant, the thing so powerful it could take away all my pain on a whim; but it will not: for without God we could not have the goodness of suffering.
