I hear all those feet and boots marching, I hear that parade of boots marching; this is all so very disturbing to me; O, I am disturbed. For like ants we could be washed away in the rains, or swallowed by a quake in the earth. Of course, we shall raise them for the slaughter. For this square seems strong here and now, but wait until it is among all the other squares in that strange game, the one we play in dreams. And these lines are firm and well constructed - but no, this won't protect us from disaster at all; we shall arise from death; we shall resurrect ourselves in spirit form and haunt your dreams and be ghosts in stories.
