Look into me. What do you see? A fish, a snake, a turtle? What dragons and creeping things are inside of me? What rains and thunderstorms go on inside of me? This book is a record of everything that goes on inside of me. For the thunder and lightning will strike, and char the tree; and lightning is made of the substance of snakes. Their venom is fire and the power of the venom is complete. And no one knows where the lightning will flash and strike; no one can tell who the victim of the lightning will be, whether tree or human being. We are all very drunk and angry. So look into me: I am a small distorting mirror that reflects the world; I am a house of mirrors that distorts the world. What can be inside of me but the substance of mirrors and snakes?
