JSR: How does this Prana increase when it is given? How does it decrease when it is stolen?

Ezekiel: Since the beginning of time men have come together to give one another mutual support. A man on his own in the wilderness will not have enough Prana to sustain his body—he will toil all day, but will not be able to live, to generate enough Prana to sustain himself. So he will come together with fourteen others, and though all they have are spears and pelts they will thrive with very little toil—for they give their Prana one to another. And in armies it is not every man for himself, but each is willing to give his life for every other, and in this way they are strong, and win the battle. But the System says, "Each man must fend for himself, and I shall mediate between men, and be the entity that systemizes the vying of the men with the men." And thus men are brought together in a system of conflict, in which each man must get all the Prana he can for himself, and does not work for the good of the whole. In this way, much Prana is lost, and each must toil tenfold what he would were each man working for the good of the whole. When men lived in caves, had they been solitary beings, each alone in the wilderness to fend for himself, they would have all died from lack of Prana. But this is precisely how the System insists we live—each taking all he can for himself, none giving all he has, all she has for the good of the whole. Could an army win a battle if the general said to them, "Each one of you must fight for his own life, and defend only his own life—and in this way perhaps more of you will survive, and the battle will be won." That army would be slaughtered and lose the day. Armies are strong and the men are happiest when each man lays down his life for the good of the whole—and in this way more battles are won and less men are lost. And in the heaven worlds society is run in this way: each man works for the good of the whole, and thus no Prana is lost, but it is increased through the giving from one to another. And in our own world men and women come together and make families, and a man in a family works for the good of the family, and the woman too, and in this way the Prana for that family is increased. But the System cordons off each family, and says to each family, "I will let you work together as a unit; but each family must work for its own interest, the families vying with the families, each getting all it can for itself—and I am the System that arises out of this intercourse." For the System would not be were not nations vying with nations, families vying with families, and individuals vying with individuals. No one would let a System rule the human race unless they feared the other humans—unless they said to themselves, "Without this System to stop them, certainly these others would devour me." But in the heavens there is no danger of others devouring one, for like are put with like, and only those who will work for a common good are put there—ones who will give everything they have, and even lay down their lives, for the good of the others, just like our leaders demand our soldiers do for their armies. And if fifteen men coming together with spears and pelts can live and thrive in the wilderness, how much more Prana is gathered together when nations and worlds all work for the common good in the heavens! Truly their bliss is beyond comprehension. But in the hell worlds no one is trustworthy to work for a common good, but each is selfish and wicked—and so Systems develop in these worlds, and indeed these worlds would be worse without them, for they keep the men from devouring the men—unless one refuses to steal, and then they will tear that one to pieces. And this is why overthrowing the System and instituting communism won’t work in this world—this is a world some distance off to the left, into the darkness. In this world, when the powerless are told to work for the good of the whole, some good ones will, but most are selfish and won’t; and the powerful, when told to lay down their lives for the whole, only say, "Now I may hoard all the Prana I want for myself—and truly the people are powerless to stop me." For Marx has descended from above, to be a messenger from the heavens; but he was like a man with his head filled with such light and goodness that he could not see the black hearts of those around him. Truly there is no fixed way a man must be—whether selfish or selfless—but some are selfish and some are selfless, each according to the inner heart; and after this world the selfish are put with the selfish, and the selfless with the selfless.

When a man works for his own selfish good,

he is put in a world where all work for their selfish good,

until he finds himself in a world

where there is no such thing as friendship or love,

and mothers have children,

only to have more slaves;

and men sell their fathers’ bones

to be made into eating utensils and dishes.
