When one gets too used to reading, one will start to think there are words on the page. There are no words on this page. These are only complex designs that mean nothing, but they remind you of words that are already in your mind. These words are in your mind; I am merely bringing your attention to them by means of a series of complex marks that mean nothing without you. This entire book is already in your mind. I am only bringing your attention to it, saying, "Look."
