The 13th Story. Includes random Web story: just click on the button, and a story from somewhere way, way out there pops up. It's pretty fun. Absinthe Literary Review. A great little lit e-zine, that actually pays its contributors, so you can expect higher quality writing here. They've even published a couple of books I reviewed, as well as reviewed my own. Lance Broughton. The world's most famous unknown author. Eastvillagepoetry.com. This site published my poetry and (believe it or not) the editor was the one who contacted me to post my poetry. Even stranger, it wasn't a scam. Leibniz: Discussion and Explanation. My own little site on the 17th-century philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. Mavericks of the Mind: Internet Edition. Novelist and journalist of the mind David Jay Brown's collection of interviews with people at the forefront of the New Psychedelia (including people like Ram Dass and Jerry Garcia). Everything you ever wanted to know about (psychedelic) drugs, holistic medicine, sex, technology and consciousness. Kelly Moore. The site of a complex, raw, brilliant contemporary painter. I can honestly say this is some of the best painting I've ever seen by a contemporary artist; Moore is destined for greatness in my opinion. In Ovo: The writings of John Quinn. Essays and poetry by an American expatriate living in France with a life story like something out of Tropic of Cancer. The Pen Works of Sukant Saran. This is some great abstract art by a fellow schizophrenic who views schizophrenia not as an illness but "a way of spiritual awakening and creative development". He must be right, because his work is truly great. Portraits and Prayers: A Gertrude Stein Page. This is my own little Gertrude Stein site. Drop by for a visit if you like Stein, or if you want to see what she is about. Ronald Sukenick's novel Out. Now this is a good novel. It was published (I think) in the 60s or 70s and is currently out of print. It's one of the best pieces of Web fiction I've come across. |
